...I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people... This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1,3-4 ESV

Things to Pray About

  • All students come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior
  • The success and favor toward Youth for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and other Christian, para-church organizations reaching out to students with the Gospel
  • The integrity and success of Christian employees in our schools
  • That Christian students would have integrity and influence toward their peers and school employees
  • That Satan and powers and principalities of darkness would have no foothold against the Holy Spirit, angels, and the Gospel
  • That coaches would be positive influences in the lives of students. That our athletic programs would go beyond sports and into life and discipleship
  • For truth to reign. This is a most confusing world for students as they hear differing opinions on sexuality, gender, race, finances, and government
  • For students to have mentorship, either through a healthy family unit, or elsewhere
  • That students would be connected to a local church that will surround them with truth, love, and support
  • For all school employees to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit and be part of His grand plan of Redemption
  • For the lonely, depressed, and struggling students to have hope, friendship, and God
  • For those students confused about their sexual orientation and gender identity, that God’s Spirit would help them understand themselves and that they would find a safe Christian influence to listen with compassion and understanding
  • For those tempted toward violence. That these students would find peace through God, a good plan for their lives, and positive relationships

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 1 John 5:14 ESV.
