What to Expect
Parking is located on the South East side of the property. It is best to arrive to New Journey at least fifteen to twenty minutes prior to service to have adequate time to walk from your vehicle into the building, check in your children, use the restroom, and grab a cup of coffee. Expect to be greeted and offered a bulletin.
One important thing to note is that we meet in an old Middle School which has the women's restroom located on the North Side of the building! You will see signs directing you toward the Women's Restroom. If you require assistance, please speak with a Greeter or anyone with an "Usher" name tag.
Our worship experience is God-centered, creative, and expressive. Regardless of where you are at in your spiritual walk, you will feel comfortable either silently taking it all in, or clapping and shouting a joyful noise to the Lord. NJCC is a church made up of people from many walks of life, and we invite everyone to worship freely, without being a distraction to others.
During our fourth song, we open up our stage for a focused prayer time. If you would like someone to place a hand on your shoulder and pray over you, just come to the front. At any time feel free to come up from and kneel in reverance to God. Sometimes a physical action can help us take a spirtiual step.
Our usual Order of Worship is as follows:
- Five Minute Break
- Closing Worship and Offering
If you have children with you, as you enter you will be directed to our registration table to securely check in your children to Kid's Alley which provides a fun, engaging experience for children ages birth to 5th grade.
